This is our original red caramel recipe used for making our famous Daffy Apple red candy apples.  It is extremely easy to make your own caramel apples using our 55 year old recipe.  The red caramel comes in a microwavable container making preparation easy compared to heating a can.  This is not a hard crack candy but rather our secret red caramel with a beautiful shine.  This container will coat 50 - 60 2 1/2 inch apples.  It will depend on how much caramel you spin off and the size of the apple you use.  The 2 1/2 inch apples are typically found in the bagged apple section of the grocery produce section
