Attention All Customers:  Due to the heat, Daffy Apple Caramel Apples are NOT shipped during the summer months (5/6-9/15).  If your order is for a specific event date, the event date must be included in the Order Notes section of the Shopping Cart.  If you would like to taste Daffy Apple Caramel before placing a large Caramel Apple order, the Bulk Caramel or Red Candy and Caramel Apple Kits can be shipped year-round.

Ordering Caramel Apples for a 9/17, 9/18, or 9/19 Event
Unfortunately, we will be unable to take orders for events the weekend of September 18th until the first week of September.  The ability to ship for an order that weekend is largely dependent on the weather and shipping location.  Do NOT place your order online.  If an order is placed online and must be canceled because the order will not arrive in time, a Cancellation Fee will be subtracted from the refund amount.


When should I place my order?
We recommend placing your order at least 3-4 weeks before the wedding or event date.  However, you may place your order earlier if that is an event detail that you would like to get out of the way.  Be sure to indicate the wedding or event date in the Order Notes (located at the bottom of the Shopping Cart).  We will not ship your product right away but we do schedule it for future preparation and shipping to ensure the freshness of the product.  We will ship your order to arrive approximately 3 days prior to the event. 

When ordering bulk caramel or caramel apple kits for an event, keep in mind that we need a minimum of 8 business days to be able to ship the product in time.  If you need the products for a specific event date, please include that information in the Order Notes. 

When placing an order at 8 business days or less, you must call first to see if we have the ability to ship in time for your event. (303-288-7830)

What exactly is your crunch-topping?
Our crunch topping is a sweet corn-flake like consistency.  It’s our secret topping that has had people buying our caramel apples for over 50 years!  It is not nut-based, but all of our caramel apples are produced in a nut-producing facility so we have to add the disclaimer that our caramel apples are made in a facility that also produces nuts and may have incidental contact with peanuts.

What is your red candy caramel like?
Our red candy caramel is a sweet caramel that is soft at room temperature. It is NOT a hard candy coating nor is it a cinnamon flavor.  It tastes very similar to our traditional caramel, just a little bit sweeter.

Do you sell a plain caramel apple?
We do not sell a plain caramel apple because our caramel is soft at room temperature – easy to chew, but a mess in packaging!  Caramel sticks to all kinds of packaging, so we always make our caramel apples with a topping.

Can I buy your kits and make a plain caramel apple?
Yes.  Our caramel apple kits come with a container of Daffy Apple caramel, sticks, and one topping.  We also sell our caramel and sticks separately if you would like to use your own selection of toppings.  We still would not recommend wrapping plain caramel apples in cellophane or any other tight wrapper.  How to Make a Daffy Apple Caramel Apple

Do the caramel apples need to be refrigerated?
Our finished caramel apples have a 2-week shelf life or a little longer if they are refrigerated.  We recommend refrigerating the caramel apples upon arrival to maximize freshness and the shelf life, although it is not absolutely necessary.  The apples are best kept out of direct-sunlight and in a cool, non-humid space.

How many apples do your bulk caramel containers cover?
Please keep in mind we do not use large gourmet apples.  We use apples that have a net weight of 3 oz. and are generally about 2¼ to 2½ inches in diameter.
20 ounce container – covers about 15 apples.
6.5 pound container – covers 50 apples
22 pound bucket – covers 200 apples
5 gallon bucket – covers 500 to 600 apples
Can you give me a price quote over the phone?
Please use the online store to get a price quote.  If you are having difficulties, you may certainly call and we will walk you through it.

We sell our caramel apples in cases of 12 or 24, which is our bulk price.
  • Create an account, if you haven't already. 
  • Go to “Buy Online” and select the category from which you would like to order (“Caramel Apples”, “Wedding Favors”, etc.).
  • Select the products you would like to order and add them to your shopping cart.
  • When you are finished, click on your shopping cart and select “Checkout Now”.  Choose your shipping method (“Will-Call” is available for customers in the Denver area), and the next page, “Payment Information”, should give you the order total, including Shipping and Handling (total located at the bottom of the page).
I would like to try your caramel apples before I buy them in bulk.  Do you have a sample pack available?
We now have two sample packs available:  Traditional Caramel Apple Sample Pack or Gourmet Caramel Apple Sample Pack.  Both sample packs contain a total of 6 apples.

What does the single-pack/3-pack look like?
Daffy Apple caramel apples are packaged in either a clam-shell single-pack container or coffin-style 3-pack container.
  If the caramel apples will be repackaged for an event, we recommend ordering the 3-pack apples.

I’m ordering multiple cases, can I get a discount?
We are already able to discount our product by selling the caramel apples in cases of 24.  You are already receiving a large bulk price. If you are ordering 30 or more cases, please contact us about additional shipping methods before placing your order.

I didn't order enough! Can I add to my order?
The best way to add to your order is to place a second order online.  Be sure to include your original order number in the Order Notes along with a note asking to combine the two orders.

Can I reduce my order?
If you would like to reduce your order, please call us at 303-288-7830.  We must charge a 4.5% Reduction Fee for any order reductions after the credit card has been authorized.  This is equal to the transaction fees incurred by us from the credit card processing companies and are based on order size and per transaction cost.  Order Reduction Information

What is your return policy?

How are Daffy Apple products shipped?
Daffy Apple products are shipped via UPS Ground.  UPS has a stated delivery schedule of 2-6 business days, depending on the zone, from Denver, CO.  All of our shipping information can be found here: Shipping Information.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping and Handling is approximately $15.00 per case of 24 apples and $11.00 per case of 12 apples.  Your final cost of the finished traditional caramel apple, delivered to your door, is approximately $1.75 per apple (full case - 24 apples) or $2.17 per apple (1/2 case - 12 apples).

Do you ship to Canada?
Unfortunately, Daffy Apple is unable to ship any products internationally, to P.O. boxes, to the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam, Military (A.P.O & F.P.O) and Canada.

I placed an order and now have multiple charges on my credit card.  Why did I get charged more than once?
This generally happens when an error occurs while placing your order.  Your credit card is authorized to make the purchase, but your order does not go through due to the error (incorrect billing address, incomplete information, etc.).  These transactions are pending charges and have been subtracted from your Available Credit but have not yet been added to your Current Balance.  If the extra charges are pending charges, they will be canceled by your bank within a few days.  If the charges are not pending charges or are not canceled, please contact us at 303-288-7830.

Attention All Customers:  Your credit card will be charged at the time the order is placed.  If an event date is listed in the Order Notes section of the shopping cart, the order will be shipped according to that date.  If no date is listed, the order will be shipped within 5 business days.

Attention FL, HI and AK Customers:  Unfortunately, we are unable to ship our finished caramel apples to Florida, Hawaii or Alaska.  If you would like to place an order for caramel corn, bulk caramel, or a caramel apple kit, please give us a call at 303-288-7830, as alternate shipping may be required.
