Daffy Farms Terms & Conditions: Return & Cancellation Policy
Daffy Apple orders are shipped via UPS Ground*. If there are circumstances beyond Daffy Apple's direct control causing an order to be late or missed, product will not be shipped beyond normal ground service (UPS Ground) at Daffy Apple's expense. These circumstances include: orders lost due to web site malfunction, carrier company errors, bad weather or other reasons causing late or missed deliveries. In the case of damaged shipments, late shipments or missed shipments due to carrier fault, we will refund any money collected for the product and shipping. *Caramel Apple orders of 20+ cases may be shipped via UPS Freight and
very small orders (cellophane bag or stick-only orders) may be shipped
via USPS Priority Mail.
If product is damaged during shipment, we ask that digital photos are taken of the product immediately and sent to us via email for a refund. Photos are required for a refund. Due to the perishable nature of the finished caramel apples and high shipping costs for an inexpensive product, please do not ship products back to the factory. The product can be discarded after an appropriate refund has been determined. All damaged product claims need to be made within 24 hours of delivery. Per UPS's Terms and Conditions of Service, in the event that a claim is made for damage to a package, the original packaging materials must be made available to UPS or its designee for inspection.
Due to the speed at which orders are processed, changes or
cancellations are not always possible. If an order must be changed, we
will do everything possible to accommodate the request. Our shopping
cart is bank automated, this secures client's information and therefore
orders are processed upon submission of your order.
If an order is canceled after the credit card has been authorized (if
you were given an order number, your card has been authorized), it will
be subject to a 10% Cancellation Fee. No exceptions.
If your order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. No exceptions.
If an order needs to be canceled, but has already been produced, Daffy
Apple cannot refund the product cost. The refund will consist of the
Shipping and Handling minus the Cancellation Fee. No exceptions.
If an order for a specific event date is placed online after the posted Caramel Apple Order Deadline and
must be canceled because there is not enough time to process, produce,
and ship the order, it will be subject to a 10% Cancellation Fee. No
Caramel Apples are heat sensitive. It is not recommended that they are
shipped to a location where temperatures are above 85ºF. If a caramel
apple order is placed online with a ship to location where temperatures
are above 85ºF and must be canceled due to the heat, it is subject to a
10% Cancellation Fee. No exceptions.
If you need to reduce your order, it is subject to a 5% Reduction Fee
based on the dollar amount of the reduction. All order changes must be
made at least 3 business days prior to the scheduled order ship date.
Orders that have already been produced cannot be reduced.
Perishable items cannot be returned. This includes all food
items. If there is a quality issue, we ask that digital photos are
taken of the product and emailed to us. We will review these photos and
issue an appropriate refund. Photos are required for a refund. All damaged product claims need to be made within 24 hours of delivery. The product can be discarded after an appropriate refund has been determined. Do NOT ship food items back to Daffy Apple.
Non-perishable items may only be returned if they are unopened,
unused, and in saleable condition. Shipping and Handling will not be
included in the refund amount. Returns must be approved by a Daffy
Apple representative before the item is shipped back. A refund will NOT
be issued if the return was not approved first. No exceptions.
Non-perishable returns should be sent to Daffy Apple (address below).
Please include a copy of the receipt, a current phone number, reason for
return, and Return Authorization Number. Daffy Apple must charge a 10%
Return Fee for any order returns after the credit card has been
authorized. Refunds will not be issued until the product has been
received and inspected by a Daffy Apple representative.
Daffy Apple does NOT accept COD shipments and is not responsible for
returned packages until they are received at Daffy Apple. Customers are
responsible in cases where a returned package is damaged, lost, or
stolen in transit.
Daffy Apple will only accept returns of non-perishable items within 15 days of the original receipt of the product.
Any shipments that can't be delivered due to severe weather and
UPS's inability to deliver packages due to weather or other Acts of God
are not refundable. It is the customer's responsibility to contact
us to stop a shipment if the customer lives in an area where severe
conditions may exist.
Refunds will NOT be issued for refused shipments. No exceptions.
There is no guarantee that your order will arrive on time if an order
is placed less than 8 business days in advance of the date needed. If an order is needed
in less than 8 business days, Daffy Apple must be contacted prior to
placing your order, as expedited shipping may be required. If an order needs to be canceled
because it will not arrive in time, a Cancellation Fee will be subtracted from the refund amount. Daffy Apple orders are received and processed during business hours
only. Business hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Mountain Time) Monday
through Friday. Orders placed outside of business hours will be processed the next business day. For example, orders placed over the weekend will not be processed
until Monday. Orders are not received and processed on holidays.
