Daffy Apple Terms & Conditions: Shipping Information
If your order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. No exceptions. Please read the Daffy Apple Return & Cancellation Policy for more information.
How we ship:
Daffy Apple products are shipped via UPS Ground*. UPS Ground has a
guaranteed delivery schedule of 2-6 business days, depending on the
zone, from Denver, CO (map shown below). The stated 2-6 business day
delivery time does
not include the amount of time needed to process and
produce the order. The
UPS Service Guarantee does not apply to (46.2 Exclusions):

"Packages that are delayed due to causes beyond UPS’s control including, but not limited to: the unavailability or refusal of a person to accept delivery of the shipment, acts of God, natural disasters, war risks, acts of terrorism, acts of public authorities acting with actual or apparent authority, acts or omissions of customs or similar authorities, authority of law, insufficient information provided by a customer, Hazardous Materials packages improperly offered for transport, the application of security regulations imposed by the government, or otherwise applicable to the shipment, riots, strikes or other labor disputes, civil unrest, disruptions in air or ground transportation networks, disruption or failure of communication and information systems, and adverse weather conditions.
UPS Ground shipments or UPS Standard shipments that are picked up or scheduled to be delivered during the fourteen calendar days before December 25."
Original Packaging Materials. In the event that a claim is made
for damage to a package, the original packaging materials must be made
available to UPS or its designee for inspection.
UPS shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from providing
service to, or on behalf of, a person or entity that obtains such
services, including the delivery of property, by trick, false pretense,
or other fraudulent scheme.

ORDER PROCESSING:
Daffy Apple orders are received and processed
during business hours only. Daffy Apple business hours are 8:00 am -
4:30 pm (Mountain Time) Monday through Friday. Orders placed over the
weekend will not be processed until Monday.
Orders are not received and processed on holidays. Please allow 4-5 business days for orders containing Caramel Apples, Caramel Corn, and other items that are made-to-order to be processed and produced. Bulk Caramel, Caramel Apple Kits, and
other supply orders are generally processed in 1-3 business days. Order processing and production time does not include the 2-6 business day transit time.
ORDERING FOR AN EVENT:
When ordering for a specific event date, keep in mind that Daffy Apple needs a
minimum of 8 business days to be able to get the product to you prior to the event date.
Exception: Caramel Apple orders must be placed in accordance to the
Caramel Apple Ordering Information. The event date
must be included in the Item Notes or Order Notes section of the Shopping Cart.
If an event date is not listed on the order, Daffy Apple is not responsible for orders that do not arrive in time. Please read the
Daffy Apple Return & Cancellation Policy for more information.
CARAMEL APPLE ORDERS FOR EVENTS ON SEPTEMBER 23rd, 24th, or 25th:
Daffy Apple
will make a decision about shipping after Labor Day weekend and asks that customers
wanting to order for the weekend of September 24th call us at that
time. If we do start shipping early, you would receive your shipment
1-3 days before the event date. Unfortunately, we are unable to take
your order until that time. If the apples would be shipped to the
southern half of the US, any location over 80ºF, or to VT, CT, RI, MA,
NH or ME, Daffy Apple definitely will not be able to ship apples to you for that
date. If
a Caramel Apple order is placed for this weekend without consent from
Daffy Apple and must be canceled
because the order will not arrive in time, a
Cancellation Fee will be subtracted from the refund amount.
CARAMEL APPLE ORDERS FOR December 2012 - March 2013
Daffy Apple will not be shipping Petite Caramel Apple orders December 2012 - March 2013 and
asks that customers wanting to order Petite Caramel Apples for November 21 - 30th to please
call before placing your order to ensure availability of apples and
ability to ship to your order in time for your event. If a Petite Caramel
Apple order is placed during this time without consent from Daffy Apple
and must be canceled, it is subject to a 10% Cancellation Fee.
Caramel Apples are heat and humidity sensitive. It is not recommended that they are
shipped to a high-humidity location or where temperatures are above 85ºF. If a caramel
apple order is placed online with a ship to location where temperatures
are above 85ºF and must be canceled due to the heat, a
Cancellation Fee will be subtracted from the refund amount.
ORDERS NEEDED IN LESS THAN 8 BUSINESS DAYS:
There is no guarantee that your order will arrive on time if an order
is placed less than 8 business days in advance. If an order is needed in less than 8 business days, Daffy Apple
must be contacted
prior to placing your order, as
expedited shipping may be required. If an order needs to be canceled because it will not arrive in time, a
Cancellation Fee will be subtracted from the refund amount.
Due to the perishable nature of Daffy Apple caramel apples and the high shipping costs for an inexpensive product, we do not ship product back to the factory. If there is a quality issue, we ask that digital photos are taken of the product and emailed to us. We will review the photos and issue an appropriate refund. The product can be discarded after the issue has been resolved.

Due to extreme high or low temperatures, Daffy Apple caramel apples are not shipped over the summer months (May 2nd-Sept. 19th) or winter months (Nov. 22nd-March). Shipping dates may vary due to temperatures.
ORDER TRACKING:
Daffy Apple will send an email to the email address listed on your account when your order has been shipped. If your order has been shipped via UPS Ground or UPS Freight, a tracking number will be provided. Tracking numbers are not available for items shipped via USPS Priority Mail. USPS Priority Mail packages are delivered in an average of 2-3 days.
UPS SHIPMENT DELIVERY TIME INFORMATION:
UPS Ground shipments are generally delivered anytime between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (and sometimes later) to residences, and by close of business for commercial addresses. UPS cannot schedule a specific delivery time within that window. Up to three delivery attempts will be made, excluding weekends and holidays. Daffy Apple recommends using a work or business address if you will not be home during the day. Daffy Apple does not require a signature for deliveries. Shipments that don't require a signature can be left in a safe place at the driver's discretion. This could include the front porch, side door, back porch, or garage area. The UPS driver will not leave the package, regardless of Shipper
Release, if they feel the package may be stolen or damaged due to
weather.
If there are circumstances beyond Daffy Apple's direct control causing an order
to be late or missed, we will not ship apples beyond normal ground
service (UPS Ground) at our expense. These circumstances include:
orders lost due to web site
malfunction, carrier company errors, bad weather or other reasons causing late or
missed deliveries.
Unfortunately, Daffy Apple is unable to ship any products outside of the United States, to P.O. boxes, to the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam, Military (A.P.O & F.P.O), or Canada.
WILL-CALL:
If you would like to pick up your order at our factory (address below), your order will need to be placed over the phone. Caramel Apple and Caramel Corn will-call orders should be called in at least one week in advance. Bulk Caramel and supply orders should be called in 3-5 business days in advance.

*Caramel Apple orders of 20+ cases may be shipped via UPS Freight and very small orders (cellophane bag or stick-only orders) may be shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
ATTENTION ALL CUSTOMERS: Your
credit card will be charged at the time the order is placed. If an event date is
listed in the Order Notes section of the shopping cart, the order will
be scheduled for shipment according to that date. If no date is listed, the order will
be shipped within 5 business days.
ATTENTION FL, AZ, HI AND AK CUSTOMERS: Unfortunately,
we are unable to ship our caramel and red candy caramel apples to
Florida, Arizona, Hawaii or Alaska. If you would
like to place an order for caramel corn, bulk caramel, or a caramel
apple kit, your order will need to be placed over the phone.
If you have a FL, AZ, HI, or AK billing address, but the order will be
shipped to a different state, your order
will also need to be placed over the phone. Orders shipped to HI and AK may take between 10-15 business days up to 6 weeks to be delivered.
